Virtual EroSalon: What is Eros?

Join Alyssa Morin for the first of many monthly virtual EroSalon gatherings for women. Using a combination of ceremony, council, discussion, movement, and experiments, we'll dive into the topic of Eros – what is it? Is it something we find? Create? What does it mean? And, what do we do with it?

Sign up for this call (and all future virtual EroSalons) here: Don’t worry, you can unsubscribe at any point!

This is not a class but an exploration. Of Eros. Lifeforce. Creativity. Generativity. Sexuality. Sensuality. Pleasure.

Our Eros most often gets narrowed down into what we do with our genitals. But it's so much bigger than that. Eros is not only sex, but sex is a part of Eros.

Your questions, your experiences, your longing, your challenges, and your celebrations are all welcome. I will hold the space, you simply get to show up and learn something about yourself and the particular flavor of Eros that runs through you.

In days gone by, people gathered in salons to discuss philosophy, religion, politics, literature, all with the intention of enjoying themselves, and deepening and widening their knowledge and understanding of the world. Originally flourishing in France in the 17th and 18th centuries, salons were held around Europe and North and South America, primarily by women, and some were significantly influential in transforming the conversations and decisions of their time (check out wikipedia for more).

Join me to reinvent and reinvigorate the salon. To stoke the fires of resilience and subversion. To follow your curiosity. To tend to and nourish one another. To cultivate a deeper connection with yourself and community. To learn something about your sexuality and sensuality. And, of course, to enjoy yourself.

Participation is free of charge!

Location & Instructions:
We will gather via Zoom. Head over here ( to leave your email address and you’ll get the info that you need to join the call.

About Alyssa Morin:
I’m a Somatic Sex Educator and Certified Sexological Bodyworker. I work with individuals and couples, helping them to learn the basics of their bodies, anatomy of arousal, and pleasure; to reconnect with their wild, embodied, erotic intelligence; to work through fears, traumas, voices, and beliefs that get in the way of all of that; and to recognize and claim the power of their eros and generative energy with responsibility, sovereignty, awe, and wonder.
